COLLEGE PROFILE

Kolandoto College of Health Sciences was established in 1957 known as School of Nursing and midwifery offering certificate of Nursing and midwifery. In 2012, it was registered as Kolandoto College of health sciences after introducing a department of Medical Laboratory and Clinical medicine, and thereafter Pharmaceutical Sciences were instituted with registration number REG/HAS/008. The college has been in the business of training of medical and health professionals for over 60 years. This has earned it an enviable position in Tanzania, East and Central African region. Most of its produce has excelled into super specialties serving indifferent position in the medical field.

The College has extended by opening new campuses as its Constituencies in Mwanza as Kolandoto College of Health Sciences – Mwanza Campus and in Simiyu as Bishop Kisula College of health Sciences and Allied Sciences. The Collegehas experienced both exciting and challenging times but has set a pace for itself and the future is very promising.

Ownership

The College is under the ownership of Africa Inland Church Tanzania operating as a non-profit makinginstitution servingthepublicfromallracesandcultureswhileendeavoringtheprinciples of non discrimination.

Location

Kolandoto College of Health Sciences is located in Shinyanga Municipal at a distance of 14KM away from Shinyanga Township and 1KM from the Junction of Mwanza – Dar es Salaam road.
